The Chew Valley U10s have benefited from excellent coaching and management from Mike Paul, Tony Minty, Mark Cockram and Steve Whitemore who are all FA Level 1 standard, first aid and CRB registered. The commitment they give to the boys is outstanding.

In turn, the boys have thrived in a team situation, developing physically and technically and also learning the valuable skills needed when playing as part of a dedicated team.

The team starts the new season full of enthusiasm, buoyed not only by the completion of a fantastic 2007-8 season and victory for the second year running at Team Bath’s tournament but also with the anticipation of playing 11-a-side league football.

Training takes place on a Wednesday evening at Chew Valley School and matches are played on Sundays at Pensford playing fields.
